Alexa Jones is the Founder and Chief Innovation Officer of TheraB Medical. Alexa invented the SnugLit device while pursuing her undergraduate degree in Biosystems Engineering from Michigan State University. Following graduation, she has focused her efforts on launching the company and guiding the development of SnugLit from an early-stage concept into a fully functional medical device now poised for FDA submission. Prior to TheraB, Alexa worked at Goldman Sachs, where she was part of a team tasked with bringing engineering-driven thinking to the Investment Banking sector.

Arik Anderson is a visionary executive with over three decades of experience in the medical technology and digital health sectors. Renowned for his ability to transform business and drive strategic growth, Arik has consistently led organizations to achieve remarkable growth and profitable exits. Arik graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in electrical and computer engineering. He holds board positions at the University of Michigan Medical School MTRAC Board and University of Michigan Ross School of Business Zell Lurie Healthcare Board.

Meera Sankar, MD
Dr. Sankar is the Medical Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health, and Clinical Professor of Pediatrics and Neonatology at Stanford University. In addition, she serves as a Biodesign Faculty Fellow at the Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign. Dr. Sankar completed the Stanford Biodesign Faculty Fellowship in 2024, further solidifying her expertise in innovative healthcare solutions. Passionate about interdisciplinary research, she is dedicated to scaling impactful ideas that benefit a large population of newborns and children.

Dylan Horvath is the CEO and founder of Cortex Design. He holds a degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, class of 1997 and founded Cortex Design in 1999 to create impactful designed experiences that substantially improve human quality of life.
In his time growing Cortex into a leading ISO-13485:2016 medical device design and production company within Canada, Dylan has worn almost every hat in the organization — from industrial designer to embedded systems engineer to mechatronics designer to international production liaison on dozens of overseas production visits.
